- Autonomous cargo drone company Elroy Air has entered into a business combination with Columbus Circle Capital Corp II (NASDAQ: CMII) to become a publicly traded company
By the numbers:
- The new SPAC deal gives Elroy Air a pre-money valuation of roughly $800M USD
- Columbus Circle Capital Corp II previously raised $200M USD in their IPO financing round
Why it matters:
- Elroy Air’s flagship hybrid-electric Chaparral aircraft is capable of autonomously transporting more than 300 pounds of cargo and taking offf and landing vertically without a runway
