Editorial Standards
Last Updated: Feb 23, 2026
The New Money covers public companies, cryptocurrency, and market trends for a growing community of investors and forward-thinkers. We take that responsibility seriously. Our readers make real decisions based on what we publish, and we owe them accuracy, transparency, and independence.
This page outlines how we operate.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial coverage is never influenced by advertisers, sponsors, or the companies we write about. No outside party reviews, approves, or has input on our articles before publication.
When we publish sponsored or partnered content, it is clearly labeled as such and is never mixed into our editorial feed. Our syndication partners receive editorial content only.
Sourcing Standards
We hold our reporting to these standards:
- Primary sources first. We reference SEC filings, earnings transcripts,
official company disclosures, and verified data before secondary reporting.
- Named sources over anonymous ones. We identify sources by name and title
whenever possible. On the rare occasion we grant anonymity, we explain why.
Conflicts of Interest
Our writers and editors may hold personal positions in the companies or assets we cover. When they do, the relevant disclosure appears on the article. We do not trade on unpublished reporting, and we do not time coverage around personal transactions.
Corrections and Updates
We make mistakes. When we do, we fix them openly.
- Corrections are made directly in the article with a note at the bottom
describing what changed and when.
- Retractions are rare, but if we publish something fundamentally wrong, we
remove it and publish an explanation.
We do not silently edit published articles to alter their meaning.
