What’s happening:
- CoreWeave (NASDAQ: CRWV) has entered into a new multi year deal with Anthropic for hosting artificial intelligence workloads
Why it matters:
- This is the first time ever that Anthropic has partnered directly with CoreWeave to secure cloud computing capacity for training their Claude family of artificial intelligence models

- Many of the top artificial intelligence companies and research labs have previously struck deals with CoreWeave including OpenAI, Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META), Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Mistral AI and Cohere
- Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) recently increased their equity ownership in CoreWeave with a $2B USD strategic investment as part of a larger partnership to deploy 5 gigawatts of new large scale data centres together that run on Nvidia’s GPUs and hardware
