- BMW is starting a new pilot project at their Leipzig, Germany plant to use humanoid robots for manufacturing

- This is the first time ever that BMW has used humanoid robots at one of their European manufacturing facilities

- The new humanoid robots being used by BMW are produced by Hexagon Robotics and are capable of moving parts, using advanced sensors to inspect components and operating completely autonomously in complex environments
