There’s a new data centre company coming soon to Wall Street. And Brookfield is behind it.
What’s happening:
- Csquare has officially filed a Form S-1 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission to raise an IPO financing round and list on the New York Stock Exchange
Why it matters:
- Csquare has more than 1,700 total customers using their data centres for both high performance computing and critical information technology workloads
Going deeper:
- Csquare was initially formed through combining AT&T’s data centre assets with Cyxtera Technologies which were both purchased by Brookfield
- Brookfield is the single largest shareholder of Csquare and is expected to have majority voting control of the company following their IPO
The fine print:
- The exact pricing of Csquare’s IPO financing round has not yet been publicly disclosed
