What’s happening:
- Industrial robot giant FANUC (OTC: FANUY) has struck a new deal with Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) to leverage their Gemini Enterprise software and Google’s Intrinsic robotics platform to enable FANUC’s robots to understand natural language instructions, identify objects and coordinate tasks autonomously
Why it matters:
- This is the first time ever that FANUC has done a deal directly with Google to integrate their artificial intelligence models and software into FANUC’s robots
