Ford is getting serious about memory chips. Which is exactly why they’ve just formed a new long term deal with Micron.

- Micron (NASDAQ: MU) and Ford (NYSE: F) have struck a new deal for the supply of automotive memory and storage chips to be used in Ford vehicles
Why it matters:
- This is the first time ever that Ford and Micron have ever partnered on a long term strategic supply deal for memory hardware
