  • Hyundai Motor Group has publicly stated they will begin to mass produce Boston Dynamics’ flagship humanoid robot Atlas

  • Hyundai Motor Group is expecting to be able to produce 30,000 Atlas robots annually within 24 months

  • This is the first time ever that Hyundai Motor Group has ever committed to manufacturing humanoid robots

  • Boston Dynamics’ Atlas robot is capable of running, climbing stairs, jumping, carrying objects and even doing backflips
  • Hyundai Motor Group plans to initially begin production of Atlas robots at their manufacturing facility located near Savannah, Georgia prior to scaling up to other locations in the United States
