Nebius Is Bringing Large Scale AI Compute To The United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is getting a big boost for artificial intelligence infrastructure. And Nebius Group is behind it.

What’s happening:

• Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS) has announced they will expand their high performance computing infrastructure into the United Kingdom through the deployment of thousands of Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) Blackwell Ultra GPUs
  

Why it matters:‍

• This is the first time ever that Nebius Group has made a major investment into building out computing infrastructure in the United Kingdom
  

Going deeper:‍

• The United Kingdom will be the seventh country that Nebius Group has built a large scale GPU cluster for artificial intelligence workloads, joining existing sites that are operational in Europe, the United States and the Middle East
  
• Nebius Group has already cut deals with artificial intelligence startups, drug development companies and even the London Institute of Mathematical Sciences to provide them access to GPUs once the new cluster is officially deployed in the United Kingdom
