Mentioned:
NexGold Mining has one of Nova Scotia’s most exciting gold projects. And now, they are closer than ever to turning it into an operating open pit gold mine.
What’s happening:
- NexGold Mining (TSXV: NEXG) has officially received approval for the Crown Land Lease and License for its Goldboro Gold Project located in Nova Scotia, Canada
Why it matters:
- The new approval gives NexGold Mining the legal right to build and operate a full scale open pit gold mine, including constructing processing plants and facilities for tailings
Going deeper:
- NexGold Mining has now received nearly all the required regulatory approvals to turn the Goldboro Gold Project into an operational mine and only requires a final Industrial Approval from the province of Nova Scotia
- NexGold Mining just recently made waves with the discovery of new zones of gold mineralization at the Goldboro Gold Project, which validated that multiple drill holes have meaningful gold mineralization
The intrigue:
- NexGold Mining also recently successfully raised $10M CAD in an equity financing round to fund both their large scale drilling program at both the Goldboro Gold Project as well as their Goliath Gold Complex property located in northwestern Ontario, which is also advancing quickly towards final permitting
