Nvidia Launches New AI Models For Robotics

Building leading edge software for robots is about to get easier. And Nvidia is behind it.

What’s happening:

• Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has released new Cosmos and GROOT models for robotics
  

Why it matters:‍

• Both of Nvidia’s new releases are open and fully customizable on Hugging Face to enable startups and research labs to seamlessly begin building on top of them
  

Going deeper:‍

• Multiple notable robotics companies including Boston Dynamics, Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT) and Franka Robotics are already deploying this new technology stack from Nvidia into their robots and hardware
  
• Nvidia has also integrated their GROOT model into Hugging Face’s LeRobot framework which will allow Nvidia’s models to be directly distributed to more than 13M developers on Hugging Face
