- The Nuclear Operating System is aiming to develop the first ever real time software platform that is purpose built to help nuclear power companies navigate construction of new facilities and transform the way nuclear reactors are built
- Palantir will leverage their proprietary Foundry software platform to co-develop the Nuclear Operating System with The Nuclear Company
- The Nuclear Operating system is aiming to leverage digital twin technology to be able to use artificial intelligence to deal with cost overruns, predict potential problems on the construction site and optimize all aspects of the supply chain for nuclear reactors
Why it matters:
- This is the first time ever that Palantir has formed a partnership with a nuclear energy company to leverage their artificial intelligence software
