A South Korean rare earth magnet producer wants to scale up their operations in North America. Which is exactly why they’ve just formed a new partnership with REalloys.
What’s happening:
REalloys (NASDAQ: ALOY) has entered into a letter of intent with South Korean rare earth magnet company JS Link to develop an integrated North American rare earth magnet manufacturing platform
Why it matters:
JS Link is a global producer of advanced permanent magnets and has multiple new facilities under development in both the United States and Malaysia
Going deeper:
REalloys and JS Link have both publicly stated that their new partnership is intending to focus on developing a rare earth supply chain that has zero nexus to China across feedstock, separation, metallization and magnet manufacturing
