Centrus Energy Corp. is a U.S.-based supplier of enriched uranium fuel and nuclear energy services for commercial and government applications. The company provides nuclear fuel and services to utilities operating nuclear power plants both domestically and internationally, drawing on decades of experience in the uranium enrichment industry.

Centrus operates the American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio, where it produces High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU). HALEU is a critical fuel component for next-generation advanced reactors and small modular reactors currently under development across the nuclear sector. The Piketon facility is the only U.S.-licensed site actively producing HALEU.

Through its Oak Ridge, Tennessee facility, Centrus offers specialized engineering, manufacturing and technical services. These capabilities serve clients in aerospace, defense and other sectors requiring precision fabrication and advanced materials expertise.

The company maintains a diversified uranium supply chain through long-term contracts with multiple international suppliers. This structure supports reliable fuel delivery to its utility customers while reducing dependence on any single source. Centrus also holds contracts with the U.S. Department of Energy to support domestic uranium enrichment capabilities and national energy security objectives.
