Cell cultivated meat is officially coming soon to Israel.

What’s happening:

  • This new approval is further validation for cellular agriculture and cell cultivated meat as a whole and may help accelerate regulatory decision making across Europe and Asia

Going deeper:

  • Aleph Farms has also applied for regulatory approval in Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States
  • An official kosher certification for their production facility in Israel is also being pursued by Aleph Farms

The intrigue:

  • Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is a strategic investor in Aleph Farms
