Artificial Superintelligence Alliance
About Artificial Superintelligence Alliance
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance is a collaboration between Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol, formed to advance decentralized artificial intelligence research and development outside of centralized technology platforms. The alliance unifies the technical work, governance and tokens of its founding projects under a shared roadmap aimed at decentralized artificial general intelligence and, longer term, superintelligence.
Fetch.ai contributes autonomous-agent infrastructure that lets software agents negotiate, transact and coordinate on a public network. SingularityNET provides a marketplace for AI services where developers publish models that can be discovered, composed and paid for in a permissionless way. Ocean Protocol contributes data tooling that allows datasets to be tokenized, shared and monetized while preserving access controls.
The alliance has a unified token, FET, which functions as the network asset across the combined ecosystem. The token is used to pay for compute and data services, stake on infrastructure providers and participate in protocol governance. Holders of legacy AGIX and OCEAN tokens converted into FET as part of the unification process.
Within the broader artificial intelligence and crypto landscape, the alliance positions itself as an open, community-governed alternative to AI ecosystems controlled by a small set of large technology firms.
Why Artificial Superintelligence Alliance Matters
The intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain has produced a category of projects focused on decentralized compute, model marketplaces and tokenized data. These networks aim to distribute the economic value of AI development across users, researchers and infrastructure providers rather than concentrating it within a handful of platform operators. For broader context on this evolving sector, explore trends in artificial intelligence.
